COOLING TOWERS

"CV" Series

Water cooled air-conditioning systems are the main application for the cooling towers of the "CV" Series. They are monoblock, manufactured in fibreglass-reinforced polyester (FRP), and can cool water flows till 700 m3/h.

Since the usual places of installation are RESIDENTIAL AREAS, these units provide an extremely low noise level.
"CTF" Series: "CTFA" type

Cooling of water in small industrial applications, like compressors, power generators condensers, etc., is carried out by means of the one section "CTFA" type of cooling towers. These towers are monoblock, manufactured in FRP, being able to cool water flows till 113 m3/h per cell.
"CTF" Series: laminar or film filling "CTFP" type

When cooling medium-sized units, such as: motors, turbines for cogeneration, cold-storage chambers, etc., and the water quality is suitable, the "CTFP" type cooling towers with a laminar or film filling are used. They are monoblock, manufactured in FRP, being able to cool water flows till 277 m3/h per cell.
"CTFP SPLASH" Series

However, we often come up against processes in which items like vacuum pumps, evaporators, rolling mills, are involved, where the quality of the water to be cooled requires other solutions. For these cases, SPX Cooling Technologies Ibérica has the "CTFP SPLASH" Series, which can work with water containing suspended particles, fibres, etc.

They are monoblock, manufactured in fibreglass-reinforced polyester (FRP), being able to cool water flows till 250 m3/h.
"SG" Series

"SG" series cooling towers are used in all industrial applications.

Their main features are: induced draught, axial fan, monoblock, manufactured in fibreglass-reinforced polyester FRP, being able to cool water flows till 300 m3/h per cell.
"RM" Series

When the cooling needs are higher, i.e., till 1,700 m3/h, "RM" Series are available. Their structure profiles are manufactured in hot dip galvnized steel or stainless steel, and FRP cladding.

However, on occasions industrial needs might be much higher. For these cases, "OC" Series are the solution. Their structure is built in reinforced concrete, with its cladding being made of the same material, brick, etc., able to handle flows till 4,000 m3/h per cell.

PLATE HEAT EXCHANGERS

In many installations where the previous mentioned equipment is used, it is complemented with Heat Exchangers. In our case, this synergy is being provided by means of "Torraval" brand Plate Heat Exchangers.
